Vrev is a blind, soft-spoken, and gentle former Wood-Warder who now lives among outsiders.After many years living away from Golmore and in the wider world proper, he has finally figured out where he would like to settle. Where his passions, skills, and feelings of competence lay are now within his perception.An alchemist and doctor by trade, he has a focus in apothecary work as his main avenue of healing. He greatly enjoys care-taking work, having a strong drive to nurture others and mend their woes and ills.He is mainly stationed in the city states, travelling often between them to offer his time and skills to various medicine houses around the realm. He has even recently opened a small clinic and apothecary in Gridania, which anyone can make their way into. (if you see me online and would like to do a rp there, please send me a /tell!)With a friendly, kind disposition, Vrev is incredibly approachable and easy to get along with, even to those who have a hard time getting along with anyone.Solitary to his core, but still a lover of companionship and company, he walks a delicate line of outsider and community member. He keeps his distance from others for the most part, never really offering up much information about himself outside of the very basic, easy things to find out. Some who have looked closely at the things he says realise quickly that they don't actually know him at all, and he seems happier when this is the case.He does not have a home, but from time to time passers by might see him dipping into a small area just off of Sweetbloom Pier. None have been willing to chase him through the small space, but he has made a small living area for himself there in the fringe of the wilds. He also, in a sense, lives in a small section of a greenhouse where he was gifted a cozy hide.Self sufficient and independent, it's rare to see him buying anything. Food, clothing, or other needs he procures for himself if he is able, and if he isn't, he simply does not have it.Breaking old Wood-Warder habits is hard, and he has come to realise he does not want to. So, he lives as he did in Golmore for the most part, and he is much happier for this.Have you heard of the Vieran alchemist around the city states? He grew up within the Viras village in Golmore. Many details are unknown except to those who are also from this village.

II.

Warder Training
16-57

He left somewhat older than most men do, but he eventually did leave in his late teens for training.
Many details are unknown even to those from his village, the information having died with his mentor, much of which he does not share himself.

III.

Wood-Warder
57-173

Eventually after around 40 years of training, he was given the title of
Djt-Gilda, and he had been a Wood-Warder for a little over 100 years.
He loved this time in his life, trained a few wards of his own, fathered children, married his wife, and fulfilled his role in the society he loved so dearly.
Many details are unknown.

IV.

Leaving Golmore
173-174

More recently at the age of 173, he fled his home in Golmore and found himself in Thavnair. He lived there for the better part of a year before eventually making his way to Eorzea. Much of what he shares tends to be from this time in his life onward, but even then, what he shares tends to leave people still feeling they don't know him at all.
It is unknown exactly the reasoning for him leaving.

V.

Thaumaturgy Teacher
174-176

After arriving in Eorzea, Vrev started to teach Thaumaturgy to various students. Durring a lesson, his aether ignited due to a mistake in spellwork where he almost lost his life. He continued to suffer for some time to come as it continued to burn in a low smolder, and he stopped teaching after the accident due to fear of another mistake.

VI.

Courtesantry
176-177

For the better part of a year he has worked as a courtesan. He enjoyed this overall and has made a number of friends through this line of work, but, recently he has moved on from this to new things.

VII.

Alchemist + Doctor
19-173 practical skill, 175-current refined skill

Currently, he has held a job in and continues to find himself passionate about Alchemy. He specializes in apothecary work, medicine and poison specifically.
He holds a job within the guild and children's ward in ul'dah, picks up odd jobs here and there, offers his time to a high house in Ishgard and it's tenants, and busies himself with personal projects. He hopes to focus more on this part of his life, and he has just opened an apothecary and family clinic!

Alchemist

Vrev is no where near an accomplished alchemist, but, he is starting to make a name for himself and can easily be found and commissioned for most medicines and potions.
He is mainly known on the street for pain remedies, sleep aids, and aphrodisiacs.
He has recently taken a job working in the children's ward in Ul'dah, however he also owns his own clinic stationed in Gridania.
Most know him as Honey in this profession.

Simple Walk-ups

Really, he is the type who is easy to get along with, speak to, and approach. Rarely will he turn away company, and I'm always ooc happy to have /tells, IC walk ups, and fun!
It's ok on my end if things go poorly and they don't get along, I'm so happy just to rp!Please /tell if you'd like to walk up, if I have my rp tag up I'm up to rp, however it's good to check if I'm available because I may be wrapping up and on my way out.

Need a Doctor?

Vrev is a doctor and works with both children and adults, anyone can approach him for medicine or physical healing. If you'd like to rp in a clinic setting, I have a physical space in game!
Are you RPing a trans character and they need HRT? Vrev can make hormones and help your character!

Romance

This is a thing that can happen, and I'm open to people pursuing this, however please know that this character is extremely slowburn and you are in for a long haul and I don't mean a couple of rps or a few months.
He is polyamourous and has two kind-of partners, I keep all relationships in the same au and canon to each other.

Sparring

Vrev loves to spar, either physical combat or magic. He tends to visit the grindstone somewhat often, and isn't afraid to lose. All of it is thrilling.
I prefer to use /random rolls to dictate hits, we can discuss the rules ooc! With familiarity, I'm open to spars without rolls.

Thaumaturge

He is a long time and very competent mage, and has in the past taken on students. He hasn't recently, but anyone can approach and ask for lessons. He has a high turn down rate, however.He focuses on practical use, theory, elements and aspects and what those mean, basic book learning, and further into using the magic in unconventional ways.He doesn't often use this magic anymore after a grave accident some years ago.

Treasure / Monster Hunting

Want to set up to go IC treasure hunting? Let's plan a map, an encounter, and a dungeon to RP out and get some IC loot from! We can even set up a campsite and bond over smores.Monster hunting? We can do a neat DND style combat (turn order, /random rolls, system can be discussed prior to scenes!). The above can be incorperated and mixed/matched.

Former Warders from the same village may have known him as well, so long as they were in Golmore prior to 5 years ago.

Seeking Adventure Buds

Vrev wants to experience the world and really make an effort to grasp his old Warder roots again in a new way. He wants to feel useful again, and he wants to make a name for himself in some small way. Anyone willing to go out with him and lend a hand and take the spoils off of his hands is welcomed!
